Zadspace was founded with the vision of increasing the effectiveness of targeted advertising. Zadspace has developed a new direct marketing medium based upon patented technology. This medium offers advertisers and retailers a new venue for distributing valuable one-to-one marketing to consumers. Zadspace is a private company with offices in Norwalk, CT
and Los Angeles, CA.

Mr. Giordano is a veteran Marketing Service Executive with deep expertise in Direct to Consumer media, marketing and promotion. Over the past 22 years he has built, sold and been the CEO of a variety of successful companies including: Media Syndication Global, Manhattan Response Group, Media Solution Services and the Spiritual Cinema Circle. During his career, he has served in senior leadership positions within scaled publicly traded Marketing Service agencies including Snyder Communications and Havas. Mr. Giordano is the Past Chairman of the Electronic Retailing Association and is an oft-quoted Direct Marketing expert whose articles have appeared in Target Magazine, DM News and Response Magazine.
Mr. Giordano sits on various Advisory Boards, is an Attorney and resides in Connecticut with his family.
Well known for his work in consumer promotion, retail marketing, advertising and publishing, Jeff brings over 30 years of experience managing some of the largest and most innovative media brands in the industry to his role as COO of Zadspace.
Most recently, Jeff served as CEO of Vesta GMS, where he repositioned and rebranded an alternative out of home company, converting the firm into one of the industry's leading providers of in-home, sustainable marketing services.
Prior to joining Vesta, Jeff served as President of Adspace Digital Mall Network, the nation's leading in-mall digital signage company. He led the team that converted a technology provider into the largest independent in-mall digital signage network in the U.S.
Among his responsibilities during his fourteen year career at News America Marketing Jeff served as senior vice president of sales at Smart Source iGroup, where he led the sales effort launching online coupon distribution. He also served as SVP of retail marketing where he developed, maintained and expanded the company's portfolio of in-store products in supermarkets, chain drug stores and mass merchants.
At News America FSI, Mr. Jensen conceptualized and implemented all aspects of Price Feature Plus, still the nation's leading consumer package goods co-marketing program. He started his career at Columbia Communications as the associate publisher of home furnishings publications.
A technologist and entrepreneur, James has extensive experience in diverse systems design, integration and deployment. Prior to co-founding Zadspace, he was an engineering consultant for National TeleConsultants, where he served clients such as DirecTV, Discovery Networks, HBO, ESPN and World Wrestling Entertainment. He has also been a Partner in Alienwebshop, LLC, a web hosting and co-location company, since 1999.
James earned his bachelor’s degree in Communication and Media Arts from Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts.
Ted brings the diverse experience of having managed at both the Operations and Information Services levels for several global organizations. Ted has over 25 years of experience in developing and leading Supply Chain and Operations solutions that encompass a multi-channel sales approach, manufacturing and sourcing as well as a multi-facility distribution environment.
Ted has held senior level positions at Rodale, Inc, Lenox China, Simon & Schuster and Macmillan Publishing where he was responsible for distribution center management, transportation planning, warehouse automation, process flow re-engineering, systems implementation, strategic network rationalizations and new building design.
Ted is very active in the Supply Chain Industry and is Vice President of the WERC Delaware Valley Council, Board member of the CSCMP Lehigh Valley Roundtable and Co-chair of the IDEAlliance Logistics and Transportation Committee.
Ted holds an MBA from Drexel University and a BA in Economics from Washington & Lee University.
Scott has over 18 years of finance and accounting experience, managing finance departments primarily in the consumer products industry.
He spent the last 10 years working at fashion houses including Tory Burch and Elie Tahari. There he managed teams from 15-30 in the areas of accounting, finance, human resources and imports.
He started his career at Arthur Andersen, ultimately working as an audit and assurance manager. His focus was on consumer product and service companies. During this time, Scott obtained his CPA license.
He currently resides in Connecticut with his family.
Frank Foster is a Managing Director of DFJ Frontier. He also manages the Gideon Hixon Fund, the venture capital investment vehicle for the Hixon Family. Prior to that, he was a General Partner of Allen & Buckeridge PTY LTD, a leading Australian venture capital firm with approximately A $250 million under management. At Allen & Buckeridge he led investment efforts into Hitwise, eKit, Wishlist and Next Generation Entertainment. Frank has extensive operational experience through his roles at Virtual Music Entertainment (sold to NAMCO), Contexture Systems and Prophecy Development Corporation. Recently, he acted as an independent Director and consultant to YellowPages.com through its successful sale to SBC Communications (NYSE: SBC) and Bell South (NYSE: BLS) in November 2004.
He was also Director of Cogent Data technologies through its sale to Adaptec Inc (NASDAQ: ADPT) in June 1996. He received his MBA from The Harvard Business School and a BA cum laude from Harvard University.
David F. Zucker, 49 years old, is Chairman of Petty Holdings, LLC, a leading motorsports entertainment company and Managing Partner of private investment company Lead Lap Enterprises, LLC. Lead Lap Enterprises, based in the North Shore of Chicago, has current investments in a number of private companies, and Zucker is a member of the Board of Directors of several of them. Zucker has spent twenty-five years as a CEO/President/General Manager of public companies, private companies, and company divisions in the media, consumer, online, entertainment, and technology businesses. These businesses include: Midway Games Inc., where David served as CEO, Playboy Enterprises where Mr. Zucker held the title President & COO and Managing Director of Walker Digital (Founder of Priceline.Com).
Mr. Zucker spent 11 years at the Walt Disney Company, including eight years at ESPN Inc., where, among other things, he oversaw the launch of ESPN 2.
Mr. Zucker graduated magna cum laude from Princeton University, served as a financial analyst for Goldman, Sachs & Co., and received his MBA from Harvard University.
Jim Perakis was CEO of Hyperion Software Corporation, a pioneer in enterprise financial management and planning software, from 1985 to 1998, overseeing growth from startup through IPO to sales of over $300 million. Oracle Corporation acquired Hyperion in 2009. Previously, Perakis was CFO of Interactive Data Corporation, General manager of Chase Decision Systems, and a vice president on the corporate staff of Chase Manhattan Corporation.
Perakis is chairman of the board of XLerant, a software solutions company that builds and implements innovative budget management software. He also serves on the boards of Sparta Systems, a provider of quality management software, Zadspace, the creator of a new medium for precisely targeted direct marketing, and is an advisor to several other technology firms. He is a member of the advisory board at Carter Morse &Mathias, an investment banking firm.
He has been an investor and served on boards of a number of public and private technology companies, including Unica, Mapinfo, Mobius, eMedia, Bristol Technology, Design2Launch, Vurv, and Netkey and has served on the board of the Connecticut Technology Council.
Perakis holds a BSEE degree from the University of South Carolina and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
Pauline is a Managing Director, Investments at Connecticut Innovations where she has led CI’s investments in Environmental Energy Services, etouches, FMP Products, New Ortho Polymers, Premise Corporation, XLerant and Zadspace. She serves on the boards of Environmental Energy Services, etouches, New Ortho Polymers, ShopText, Sustainable Real Estate Solutions, Xlerant and Zadspace. In addition to being responsible for initiating and closing deals, Pauline manages the investment associates and investment team support staff.
Pauline joined CI with over ten years of experience in both manufacturing and service organizations. She was controller of an early-stage software development company and launched her career at Ernst & Young, LLP.
She graduated with a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Connecticut and is a registered certified public accountant in the state of Connecticut.
